Where they came from

Updated: Dec 4, 2023

Felt something for the first time in a while

I don’t want to give a name to this feeling just yet

Some sort of despair shaped like candle flame

Subtle yet unstable and intense, I cannot keep it up

Like all the cherry blossom petals on the ground

Countless pastel pink turning into brown

Soon they vanish and go back to where they came from

One day I gave up to feel because sun was chasing me

I was sweating in the middle of winter

Nobody knew there were things wanting to escape from my body

You held my hand on the train, your soft palm reached something I've kept ignoring

Through your palm, all the things started to escape from the prison of my heart

Soon they vanish and go back to where they came from
